Complaints about the Smooth Fitness Agile DMT X2

Nothing can be ‘perfect’ though this elliptical does come close. One of the complaints from a very few people online (compared to over 100 positive reviews) are that the display is difficult to read for taller people.

The console is placed at an angle that may make it difficult (not impossible) to see at all times. The simple solution?

Look down when you need to. It’s not really difficult to do (though a few people made it into a bigger deal than it is).

Having been on a number of elliptical trainers myself, this is not a make-or-break factor for the Smooth DMT X2 model. It is something worth mentioning, however, as you shop around for an elliptical of choice.

The consoles on the Yowza Fitness line of ellipticals do not have this minor inconvenience, if it matters that much to you.

For me, when I workout, I look at the monitor to set up the workout and every now and then will glance down to monitor my pulse rate. However, even then I go by how I feel: if my heart’s going too fast, I don’t need a monitor to tell me (the thing’s in my chest, after all).
